NIMCET 2024 Application Form

The application form for NIMCET 2024 has been released on March 6, 2024. Interested candidates have to fill the form by the deadline in order to appear for the exam. The last date to apply for the NIMCET 2024 is April 20, 2024. The process of filling out the NIMCET 2024 application form includes registration, filling out a detailed form, uploading scanned images of photo, signature and payment of application fees. Candidates need not send the printout of their application form to the NIMCET office, but they should keep it safe until the completion of the counselling and admission process.

 


 

How to Fill NIMCET Application Form

  • Open the official website
  • Click on the “NIMCET 2024 Registration” link
  • Fill the required details to complete the registration process
  • After registration, fill the application form with the required information
  • Upload scanned image of photo and signature
  • Pay application fees online using a credit/debit card or internet banking

The application form will be submitted automatically after the successful payment of the application fees. A PDF of the form will be generated after final submission. Candidates need to download the PDF and take its printout.

 


 

NIMCET Application Form Correction

The facility to make corrections in the NIMCET 2024 application will be opened after the completion of the registration process. Candidates need to login to the official website of NIMCET 2024 for making the corrections.

 


 

NIMCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check below the NIMCET 2024 eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen
  • Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (i) BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
  • SC/ST candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in (i) BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT of minimum 3 years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
  • Students with BE/B Tech or equivalent from a recognized University can appear for the exam.
  • Aspirants who will be appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply for NIMCET 2024
  • Aspirants who have completed or completed a degree in three years BSc / BSc(Hons)/BCA/ BIT from Open Universities can also apply provided their programme is approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.

The percentages of marks / CGPA in the qualifying degree are to be calculated on the basis of marks / grade points obtained in all the subjects studied in all the years including languages, optional and additional subjects studied, if any. The aggregate of marks / grade points secured in all the subjects in all the years computed using this
method of calculation alone be considered by authority for deciding the NIMCET eligibility.

 


 

NIMCET 2024 Exam Pattern

The NIMCET 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode as a Computer Based Test. The question paper will have a total of 120 multiple-choice questions from the prescribed syllabus. Candidates can check below the detailed pattern of the NIMCET question paper.

Note:This is a tentative list of test centres as per the NIMCET information brochure 2024. It also stated that if enough number of candidates do not opt for a particular center, then that center may be cancelled, and the center indicated as the next choice will be allotted automatically. However, in a situation where none of the three choices indicated by the candidate is available (which is unlikely), one of the available centers that is geographically nearest to the first preference center will be allotted.

 


 

NIMCET 2024 Admit Card

Eligible candidates will be able to download their NIMCET 2024 admit cards from May 28, 2024, to June 8, 2024. In the event of any difficulty or problem in downloading their admit cards, candidates need to send an email to nimcet@nitjsr.ac.in between June 1 to June 5, 2024. The e-mail should consist of all the details of the candidate’s application number and proof of the remittance of the fee. 

 Admit cards will also be available for download on the website. Candidates will have to download their admit card by login to the website using their application number and password. Details about exam date and time, address of the exam centre, candidates basic details like name, photo, signature and exam day guidelines will be mentioned in NIMCET admit card 2024. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam without NIMCET admit card.

 


 

NIMCET 2024 Result

The autority will declare the NIMCET 2024 result on the official website on June 25, 2024. Result will be announced online on the NIMCET website. Candidates will be able to check their results by login into the website. Details about candidates’ score in the exam and All India Rank will be mentioned in the result. Candidates who will be qualified will be eligible to participate in the counselling. 

 


 

NIMCET Counselling 2024

NIMCET 2024 counselling and seat allotment process schedule will be released by the conducting authority on the official website. Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the NIMCET 2024 counselling process from June 29, 2024, to July 5, 2024. The choices of candidates applying for counselling will be automatically locked by the server of NIMCER 2024 on July 5, 2024 (5 PM). An application fee of INR 1000 shall be charged as a counselling fee. The allotment of seats in participating NITs will be through online counselling.
